Athos

Athos after Huisfit. Her stern has been extended by 1.25 meter / 4 feet, a seemingly modest extension. Yet the concave and convex curves of the new section called for exceptional skills in the design and build of the aluminum structure in order to fit perfectly into the aluminum hull. The stern now resembles that of a J Class, albeit one with a custom teak transom.

The 62m / 204ft classic schooner Athos returned to her birthplace in Amsterdam for her major conversion - outside and inside. Broadwater

Broadwater was converted at HUISFIT by Royal Huisman. Her owner following the major refit: “Entirely recreated by the Dutch masters of Royal Huisman, her Feadship pedigree shines on.”

The scope of work ranges from various comfort and esthetical upgrades inside and out, to changes relating to classification requirements. Original length: 52m / 171ft, length after Huisfit: 56 m / 184ft.
